3rd and 4th week of training.

3rd week was still our SEP training. So for the 3rd week, we did ditching. Which was jumping into the water with life vests and climbing on to the raft which wasn't easy. Then we had a lot of tests, written tests oral tests. Great thing was everyone passed! Dangerous goods I've got full marks for both :) SEP I got 90%. The whole class did well.

Oral assessment was so damn scary. First was safety demo, 2 at a time we had to demo in front of the class with a really fierce woman staring at you. Ok I went through that smoothly.
2nd one was screaming at the top of our voice if there was a crash.
BRACE! BEND DOWN HEADS DOWN STAY DOWN STAY DOWN STAY DOWN...
It wasn't easy cos I've got the unplanned ditch. So I had to scream wear my lifevest, open the aircraft door and scream again.
3rd one was in the aircraft if there is an emergency evacuation what must we do. So it was quite easy cos we practiced that umpteen times. The only part where I was a little nervous was briefing of abp (able-bodied passenger) for doors if I am incapacitated. Got through that stage too.
The last one, scariest. We have to sit in front of the same scary woman and she will ask us questions and obviously we have to answer. Thank god I got an easy one. She asked if there was a toilet fire what I should do. And the second one is how to use the water extinguisher. Easy peasy. After all these tests marks an end to our SEP.

First aid.
We had really dry theory lessons on class. Really dry and boring. But also a fair bit of practical. Like one man CPR, two man CPR and infant CPR. So my forth week of training just ended almost completed my first aid, just one more day on Monday to do my tests then we are all done with first aid. CPR is not easy, my hands had several blue blacks and bruises. But for first aid I've alr completed all the assessment. There is a special day on thursday where we all only had a half day lesson. 13th sept. it's safety and security class. Not boring, in fact interesting. It creates an awareness for all of us about the important of security in the airport. So many threats from terrorists around the world.

Really summarising 2 weeks up because it's really a busy week for me. Anyway there are pictures coming up not to worry. Ok that's all for now. Hopefully next week I'll have more time to blog so I don't have to squeeze 2 week's post into one. Adios!
