First 2 weeks of training.

I have been really busy and I can't fork out any time to update the details of my training. But I swear it's so damn awesome!! It's the best part. I get to enjoy and I get paid. Where to find? K but it's just the training, yet to begin flying.

Pictures will be after all the words. So if you all find it boring then you can just skip the words and scroll all the way down and look at the pics I have taken.

First week. I started on the 21st of August. After hari raya. So the 19 of us from batch 11 reported in the office at the airport at 9am. So we met the CEO and people from different departments. So it dragged all the way till lunch time. We reported at Temasek poly after lunch. Basically introduction and details about our training. We ended at 1700.

So for the rest of the week we were located at Temasek poly. Lecture theatre 55. Learnt about galley equipment, Inflight sales, standard operation procedures, etc.. I was shocked. So much to digest. Not just a pretty girl with loads of makeup standing inside the cabin serving food.

Grooming part was fun! Learnt how to tie our hair and put on makeup. Red lipstick just don't compliment me. But well it's their requirement for us to be spotted with bright lipstick. And our hair must be neat in a sense that when the wind blows, not a single strand moves. Should already give you a rough idea how much hair spray we need to use.

Weekends was a rest day for us. :(
The second week. Monday was another day at tp. Theory lessons. Tuesday we went to Sats the food catering centre to learn about our pos (point of sale) machine. Was a very very dry lesson. Later in the afternoon. We were brought around the building to explore the place. Then we were all releases early.

Wednesday, we were then situated at stc (SIA training centre). A place where everyone is so polite and courteous. Greeting good morning/afternoon all the time. The food there is awesome! So I was there the whole week. In fact until the 18th of September. We had several practicals. Jumping the emergency slides. Pretending if there was a crash landing we need to shout commands. Practicing our safety demo. The stimulated cabin was just great. Smoke will come out if there's a crash and sounds to make it sound so real. Other than practical we also had a fair bit of dry sleepy lessons in class teaching us sep (safety emergency procedures) the most important test we have to pass in order to fly.

So that's practically the summary of what I did for the first two weeks. I'll update this space prolly once a week. Cos I am only free on the weekends. Ok pictures coming up. And I'll update about my interview rounds later.
